Two blind men were sitting by the road.
When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"
Then the multitude warned them
that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"
So Jesus stood still and called them, and said,
"What do you want Me to do for you?"
They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened."
So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes.
And immediately their eyes received sight,
and they followed Him.
Matthew 20:30-34
Lord
that our eyes
may be opened.
Oh, Lord
that
our
eyes
may
be
opened!
These children are all waiting.
Do you see them?
Do you see how precious and beautiful they are?
They are waiting to be loved.
These are some of the older children
featured at www.reecesrainbow.org.
Do you see them?
Some will look and see a lost cause.
Too much work.
Too late.
Too expensive.
Too risky.
Some will not even look at all.
Please, look into their eyes.
They are not too old.
They are not too much work.
They are not too risky.
They are children, created in the image of our Lord.
They are waiting.
Oh, that our eyes may be opened!
