Cornerstone

The cornerstone has been set in place!  Gideon's birthday puzzle has begun to take shape!  Thank you so much to Gideon's first sponsors:

The picture is just a little glimpse so far of what is to come, but we have faith that in due time, we will be able to see the big picture:

After all, isn't that what faith is?  Building upon Jesus, the Cornerstone, and having faith that He will create beauty from the pieces? 

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.   ~Romans 8:28

Sometimes we don't understand the picture that we are looking at.  We can't see His master plan at the beginning.  We are just puzzling over the pieces and moving forward in obedience.  We can guess.  He may allow us to catch glimpses.  But truly we are just trusting Him to have a perfect plan.  And He does!  He is working for GOOD!  Because God, in every way, and at every moment, is wholly and totally good.  Our God is good!

Anyway, putting those first puzzle pieces together today just made me think of that.
